He makes no false or fraudulent claims to supernatural psychic gifts
such as telepathy, clairvoyance, or the ability to communicate with the
deceased. His practices are of a
spiritual nature nonetheless, and are protected under the U.S. Constitutional
guidelines concerning freedom of religious expression. Madame Mocha's Espresso Pub & Tearoom (Bflo. N.Y.) Paul & Monica's Coffee House - Madame Mocha's Espresso Pub & Tea Room was Buffalo's first such enterprise to deal in 100% Fair Trade Organic coffee, tea, and espresso. Paul and Monica offered their services in Tarot consultation and teealeaf reading at the establishment, along with free Wifi, live acoustic music, and more. Unfortunately, the poor state of the economy, location issues, and harassment from an influential local Catholic priest discouraging patronage forced the closing of the business after one year of operation in February of 2008. Although the couple had a solid business plan and recieved rave reviews in major Buffalo area entertainment publications, it was not enough to support this progressive and otherwise worhtwhile venture. Still, Paul and Monica hope to re-open the business in a more suitable location, with proper financial backing as the economy starts to recover. Paul E. Gipp is one of Western N.Y. and Southern Ontario's premier Tarot Consultants. The publishing and international distribution of his book in December of 2008: The Tarot for Common Folk; The Tarot Explained in Simple English, has also established him as one of America's leaing authorities on the subject. The book has recieved rave reviews from such noteable people as "Misha" Perkins - Executive Director of the Tarot Certification Board of America and host of the Tarot by Misha internet radio show, as well as Riki Frahmann of Mystic Living Today.
Paul’s studies in the Tarot
and related subjects within the Western
Mysteries Tradition of esoteric sciences began for him at a tender age in
1973. In 1996 he began offering
his services in Tarot Reading to the general public with great success. It was also at this time that he began
lecturing and offering instruction to people interested in learning about the
Tarot.
Over the years, Paul’s
services have been engaged at regional psychic fairs, holistic expos, coffee
houses, festivals, and metaphysical bookstores. Other featured venue appearances include: Seneca Nations
Casinos, SUNY Buffalo, and Mason Winfield’s Haunted Ghost Walks & Ghost Toast
events, just to name a few.
In many ways Paul is just
like you or anyone else! He is a
loving father and devoted spouse to Monica St.Laurent and their collective of
five children. Other interests and
past pursuits include: the performing arts of theatre, stage magic, and
musicianship as a skilled conguero, along with espresso bar
proprietorship. He also holds an
Associate Degree in Business Management From Bryant & Stratton Business College (Buffalo NY).
